Minister Fast Welcomes Manufacturing Export
sector workers to benefit from export

Affairs, Trade and Development Canada
Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade,
today announced the signing of a $30-million
contract for the sale of 6K low-profile
shipboard-use forklifts by Liftking to the
United States Department of Defense.
The sale was
facilitated by the Canadian Commercial Corporation
(CCC), the Government of Canada’s international
government-to-government contracting organization.
The contract was awarded under the Defence
Production Sharing Agreement between Canada and the

In 2012-13, CCC contracted Canadian
goods and services worth over $577 million through
the Defence Production Sharing Agreement. CCC is a
Crown corporation that reports to Parliament through
the Minister of International Trade.
